Community Activities
Team 1732 Community Activities efforts have a goal to promote FIRST's values within the Milwaukee community through service to others. Our main projects include Books & Bots, a partnership with Messmer Saint Rose (a local K-8 school), hosting a First Lego League (FLL) tournament, and our annual Design-a-Poster Contest. We are also very proud of the book we wrote in 2015,
Robot McGuire: from Meek to Magnificent.

Books & Bots
Our Book & Bots program brings Team 1732 members to local schools, libraries and clubs to introduce children to robotics. We read robot-related books, demo robots we have built, and talk about our FIRST experiences.
St. Rose Partnership
In 2017, Hilltopper Robotics developed a relationship with of Messmer Saint Rose school in Milwaukee. We present STEM activities to their students throughout the school year and support their FLL team,
the "Rosebots."

Design-a-Poster Contest
Students from elementary schools around the Milwaukee area invited to design, draw, and explain a robot that meets the poster theme for each year's contest.
