Community Activities

Team 1732 Community Activities efforts have a goal to promote FIRST's values within the Milwaukee community through service. Our main projects in 2019-20 included Books & Bots, a partnership with Messmer Saint Rose, and our annual First Lego League (FLL) tournament.

During the 2017-18 school year, Team 1732 performed over 1,000 hours of community service.

Books & Bots

Our Book & Bots program brings Team 1732 members to local schools, libraries and clubs to introduce children to robotics. We read robot-related books, demo robots we have built, and talk about our FIRST experiences.

St. Rose Partnership

In 2017, Hilltopper Robotics developed a relationship with of Messmer Saint Rose school in Milwaukee. We present STEM activities to their two 5th grade classes throughout the school year.

FLL Tournament

We host the largest FLL (First Lego League) competition in the state of Wisconsin. Our team and community volunteers work together to provide a venue for over 65 teams to compete
