After writing and publishing our very own children’s book “Robot McGuire: From Meek to Magnificent” in 2014, our team created a unique outreach opportunity called “Books & Bots.” In a typical Books & Bots session, Team 1732 members read aloud our team's book and other robot-themed books. The reading is followed by a live demonstration of a robot the team designed and built. Through this program, our team has reached out to many schools, libraries and clubs throughout the Milwaukee area to promote STEM to students in kindergarten through 4th grade.
